The FACC-GC is pleased to announce its new Fête des Fromages Festival, which will take place Saturday, Nov. 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old U.S. Mint. Cheeses from around the world will be available for tasting, along with wines, beer, soft drinks and other foods and products. Holly Barrett is the festival coordinator. A former hotel manager, she has a wine and culinary travel business and is experienced in coordinating events and festivals for the Southern Food & Beverage Museum. Holly just returned from a specialty food show in San Francisco and invited more than 60 cheese purveyors, manufacturers, importers and distributors to participate in the Fête des Fromages. All were very enthusiastic to learn more!
